The Peter Pan Coop was originally licensed in 1947 by graduates of Mills College. Now housed in Maxwell House, adjacent to Maxwell Park, the co-op serves approximately 30 diverse and committed families. Each family teaches one day per week and has additional responsibilities. Gail Murphy is the director and has been for over 20 years.
