PROGRESSIVE DINNER 2008

Plan to join the popular annual Friday Night Progressive Dinner School Tour. Buses take you to the doorsteps of this year’s OCC council host schools: North Huntington Beach Community Nursery School, Sun-N-Fun Playgroup in Seal Beach and Hilltop Nursery School in Fountain Valley. Enjoy delicious food and drink, while exploring diverse play environments. Visit with teachers, directors and OCC members, and experience a glimpse of co-operative education in Orange County. This is always an inspiring way to spend Friday evening!

*Although the Progressive Dinner is free, there is a transportation cost of $12 per person. Due to limited parking at some of the schools, we ask that everyone join together for the bus ride. Here is your chance to relax and chat and let someone else deal with the traffic!

CCPPNS QUILT VIEWING

Come see the CCPPNS Quilt that richly details our cooperative tradition. Our beloved Quilt features our CCPPNS tree, and represents our growth for over 25 years! It was sewn in 1977-78 by Sue Conley from Rainbow School in Santa Ana, and designed by the Outreach Committee. The idea behind the Quilt was to show the unity in the cooperative movement of nursery schools. The roots represent Parent Cooperative Preschools International (PCPI), the trunk represents CCPPNS, the branches represent the Regional Councils and the leaves represent each school that is a member of CCPPNS, past or present.
